This series began as an investigation of individual and private states but led to a series of expressive acrylic and pastel drawings on paper titled Wounded Heart. These drawings employ overlaid diagrams and imprecise spaces to express where edges touch and then dissolve. Abstract interpretations of such forces blur the line between public and private and between acts of violence and acts of love.
There are seven drawings completed in the series using acrylic paint, dry pastel and pencil on Lana paper, 76 cm x 56 cm.
