A corner installation for the members’ exhibition,
Prise de courants, presented at Galerie Powerhouse, Montreal, Québec, 1990, contained the following elements: graphite drawing on heavy paper, 1,5 m x 2.5 m, an electrical outlet (un prise de courant), photo from the newspaper placed close to the floor on the adjacent wall to the large drawing, fragment of a stone balustrade placed over the floor text. The text written in wax crayon on the floor read: je suis en train d'apprendre.
entre deux
was an emotional response to the events of the day. In the wake of the breaking of the Berlin wall; in the midst of French language courses to improve my ability to communicate; in the aftermath of the massacre at the Polytechnique;
entre deux prefigures a period of reflection.
